Privacy policy

AI Girlfriend Rank is a reading site. You do not create an account, and there is no form to fill in. This page lists the little that is collected, why, and what you can ask for. It is written to meet the GDPR for readers in the EU and the CCPA for readers in California.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Le Bazar de Babylone, SASU (RCS Melun 949 972 475), the publisher named on the legal mentions page. Write to privacy@aigirlfriendrankings.com for anything covered here.

What is collected

• Emails you send us. We keep the exchange as long as it is useful to answer you, then delete it. We do not share it.
• Choices stored in your own browser: whether you confirmed you are 18 or older, and the answer you gave in the cookie banner. Both live in your browser's local storage, not on our side.
• Technical logs kept by our host, Vercel (IP address, requested page, browser type), used to run and protect the site.
• Audience statistics, through Vercel Web Analytics: the page you view, the site you came from, your country, your type of device and browser, and which app button you click. No cookie is set and nothing is stored in your browser. Vercel tells visits apart with a fingerprint of the request that it deletes after 24 hours, so the figures cannot be traced back to you.

Audience measurement

This measurement only gives us totals: visits per page and per country, clicks per app. It does not follow you to other sites and is never used for advertising. You can turn it off in this browser at any time:

The cookie banner is about something else: analytics cookies, and none is set today, whatever you answer. There is no advertising tracker either, and personal data is never sold or rented.

When you follow a link to an app

Links to the apps we rank are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave AI Girlfriend Rank. The app, and the affiliate network that records the referral for it, then see the visit as any website would: your IP address, your browser and the page you came from. The link also carries a campaign code that tells which of our pages and which button sent the visit. It never contains your name, your email or anything else about you. What happens next is governed by the app's own privacy policy.

Why we may use this data

• Our legitimate interest, for hosting logs that keep the site running and secure.
• Our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read, for the audience statistics, which you can turn off above.
• Your request, when you write to us and expect an answer.

How long it is kept

Emails: until the exchange is closed. Hosting logs: for the period Vercel sets. Audience statistics: 12 months in Vercel's reports; we keep only daily totals per page after that. The browser choices stay until you clear them.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel Inc., hosting and audience measurement.

Vercel is based in the United States. Transfers rely on the safeguards the European Commission provides for this, such as its Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, or, as a California resident, opt out of any sale (we sell none). Write to privacy@aigirlfriendrankings.com; we reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU and not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. In France, that is the CNIL: cnil.fr.

AI Girlfriend Rank is meant for readers aged 18 or older. No data is knowingly gathered from younger people. If you think a minor has contacted us, tell us and we will delete the exchange.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The cookie policy gives the details of each browser entry.
