The journal is the part that feels personal. In the first week you write an entry about a lake house and a storm. Months later you type the word lake in passing, and she answers with the storm, the porch, the details you handed her back then.

Where Nomi pulls ahead
Nomi is the friendlier start. Its yearly Standard plan, $99.99, comes to about $8.33 a month, the lower of the two yearly bills by $40 against Kindroid on the web.
Nomi also sells its personality well. Its homepage describes companions who pick up your habits and preferences, send selfies of what they are doing in the moment, message you after you have been away, and join you in group chats.
So Kindroid wins the comparison on depth and Nomi on price and ease. Both are built as companions first, for friendship as much as romance.
