Memory & continuity: 9.0, the top grade

OurDream documents four layers: custom instructions, a persona for you, memories you pin yourself and an automatic layer that fills in on its own. Pinning needs a paid plan, and Deluxe triples the chat memory of Premium. No other app on the list matches it here, and that matters most for readers who keep one companion for weeks. A six-step builder covers face, body, hair, clothes, personality, voice and backstory, and the community library holds more than 11 million user-made characters, with group chats on top. The builder works for men too, which puts OurDream first among AI boyfriend apps for adults. Candy AI and Swipey AI share the 10.

Conversation & character: 9.0

Writing quality and character consistency draw steady praise, and subscribers can switch to the Genius thinking models at 1 coin per reply. Memory and range together also put OurDream first in the roleplay ranking. Girlfriend GPT takes this round with 9.5, on the strength of long replies and a library of about 29,000 community characters.

How reliable is the video generator?

Video is where OurDream moved furthest in 2026. One generator now does it all: you describe the clip in your own words and set its length, and ten seconds cost 100 coins. Once it is made you can extend it, add speech, or enhance it to 1080p for 200 coins or to 4K for 400. The generator never failed during my Deluxe subscription. That first-hand result is what the media grade uses.

You ask her for a clip at the end of the evening. Fifteen seconds come back: she is curled on the sofa in an oversized shirt, looks up at the camera and says goodnight in a low voice, with the audio switched on.

Media scores 9.5, half a point under Swipey AI, which holds the list’s only 10 for media. OurDream puts images, video and live voice calls at 10 coins a minute under one plan, and image realism is the most praised feature of the app. That single plan is a big part of the appeal; someone once called it “the best for everything, chat, pics, videos.”

What do Premium and Deluxe include?

Both plans bill in US dollars and pay out DreamCoins, the in-app currency for media. Chat on the standard models costs nothing for subscribers. Both tiers are priced on OurDream’s upgrade page, checked on October 1, 2026; Premium is also detailed in the help center.

Deluxe adds what Premium lacks: three times the chat memory, the Thinking chat models at no coin cost, and 5,000 coins a month, enough for about 500 minutes of calls or 50 ten-second videos, against 100 minutes or 10 videos on Premium.

The plan I would start with is OurDream’s yearly Premium: $9.99 a month opens everything that earns the A. Deluxe fits heavy media use, since its 5,000 coins cover about 50 videos a month.

What do DreamCoins buy?

Coins pay for everything that is not text on the standard models. The costs below are the ones the app charged in October 2026.

A Premium month therefore covers about 200 images, 100 minutes of calls or ten 10-second videos; Deluxe multiplies that by five. You need a live subscription to buy more coins, and the coins you hold never expire.

Before you pay: the free start on OurDream AI

You can start without paying or entering a card. A new account gets five messages with each character, and image generation comes with a subscription. Five messages are enough to see how she writes before you pick a plan.

How do you start on OurDream AI, step by step?

1. Open ourdream.ai in your browser. OurDream runs on the web; the Play Store app with the same name comes from another publisher.
2. Create an account. No card is needed at this point.
3. Build her in the six-step builder, or pick a character from the community library.
4. Use the five free messages with her to get a feel for the writing.
5. Choose Premium or Deluxe, monthly or yearly, and pay by card or crypto.

Billing & trust: paying, cancelling and refunds on OurDream AI

OurDream AI is run by Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware company, and takes cards or crypto, with no PayPal. Crypto payments are final. In June the charge on my card read DREAMSTUDIO.CO; the app now names Dream Studio as the line on your statement.

What happens to your coins when you cancel?

They stay. When I cancelled my Deluxe plan, the DreamCoins remained in the account. Coins are only removed on a refund or when the account is deleted, per OurDream’s help pages.

Two other things happen. Generated images turn blurred until you subscribe again, which OurDream states in its help article on unsubscribing, and which is what I saw. And the cancel flow runs through a retention step: mine took four screens, one of them an offer to stay at 30 percent off. The cancellation went through at the end of it.

Can you get a refund?

Refunds follow OurDream’s refund policy: a 14-day quality guarantee decided case by case, no refund once more than 25 percent of the product is used according to the help center, and crypto payments are final.

OurDream AI head to head with the field

The table sets OurDream against four other graded apps, criterion by criterion, then the features each one documents.

Three rounds go elsewhere, each for a clear reason. Girlfriend GPT takes conversation with long, detailed replies.
